Our Story

Meet Jose and Lenore

Instead of listing awards or gushing about our love for photography (though we do have plenty of both!), we’d rather share a little about who we are:

• We’re very casual—Lenore is almost always in jeans and a Picturetakers sweatshirt.
• Both of us are incredibly creative—sometimes maybe too creative!
• Lenore often stays up late designing new session ideas.
• Jose loves exploring new photography styles and techniques.
• Lenore is terrible at remembering names.
• We’re perfectionists.
• We’re always on time.
• We enjoy the simplicity of life, especially when it involves traveling the world and exploring all 50 states with our son.
• We have twin cats who rule the household.
• Lenore feels lucky to have found her soulmate, wonderful husband, and teacher in Jose.
• She’s also incredibly grateful to our son, Logan, who’s shown her the many, many faces of childhood and we are excited to have him join us for our on location sessions.

We absolutely love working together in the studio—most of the time (LOL)!
